It is also the main ingredient in many fish foods. It keeps the blue and purple fish vibrantly colored. LOL…. It can’t be that bad. I would say go for it.

What is the recommended daily dose for Spirulina and how long does it take to notice the effects?

I take spirulina almost everyday and it makes me feel great. I put it in a shake and drink it down and then I’ll have crazy energy for the rest of the day. I get mine in powdered form and it’s nice, you can even mix it with a glass of water if you’re lazy.
