We’ll wait no longer!

September 12, 2007 by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

No service!

There’s been a few times I’ve felt like doing this in a restaurant. Sometimes even other places of business too … Nothing like sitting there watching everyone else eat when you’re hungry and the waiter or waitresses are rushing by, but somehow continue to ignoring you.

would you really do that? i don´t know… a few months ago we went to a mexican restaurant and had to wait 2 hours!!! i don´t know why we waited that long. maybe the conversation was nice and we were hungry. and after the time of 1.5 soccer games the food arrived and guess what… it was lousy… it tasted like my mom had made it (german) and not some fiery and passionate mexican. what a dissappointment.

It’s really something how people choose to express their feelings at times. I might have thought about doing that, but couldn’t.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Happy WW!!

OMG!! That’s fabulous! It’s one thing to wait for a table, you’re given a choice, but after you’re seated you should not have to wait for service, it’s crazy!

If someone isn’t there in five minutes, I’m out the door. Upsetting a waiter/waitress is a good way to get something nasty put in your food. Better to just go elsewhere! I have to admit, that is a great picture. Once in California on the boardwalk, I tipped the waitress 50 cents on the credit card receipt. She wouldn’t answer my questions and kept looking at my husband every time she came to the table. Not to mention she brought out of food at different times and couldn’t figure out why I wanted to wait and be able to eat together…

When my kids were young (yes, I had 4) we had a hard time ever getting seated and served.

Nobody wanted to bother with us.

We walked out of many places.
