I always wanted to do white water rafting, but have never done so.

I think Canadians and Norwegian has a lot in common. Flora and climate is one of the and the fascination of the nature. I know there are a lot of Norwegian emigrants in Canada too, especially in Vancouver.
I guess you refer to my posts: Canoe cruise and Live steaming :-)

Btw: Good to see your bog on stage again!

Wow - cool I found Renny again. Renny used to visit my blog a long while ago, but in the meantime I’ve moved to my own domain, and blah blah blah…

Canoeing is nice - we used to do it in England, and I suppose with the recent floods there a canoe would come in handy. However, in South Africa I haven’t been canoeing in ages either. White water rafting is a different story — sounds adventurous and fun, but a bit too scary for me :P

It’s funny that you wrote this article. I’ve been searching all over for a used canoe I can afford. I just want to get out on the water, do some paddling and some fishing. I didn’t think it would be that tough to find a canoe under $600. If you have any tips on what to look for it would be much appreciated.
