Hi Tricia–
Again, this is outstanding! I have a clematis in my back yard that barely blooms and never seems to grow.

Any tips?

I love these flowers. I also love a lot of what we can grow down here in Florida, but I miss the lush quality of northern blooms.

I really ought to start a garden section on my FL blog

I always enjoy seeing your flower pictures. They are quite beautiful.

As a very amateur photographer but advanced Photoshop user I have to ask, what is the draw of raw mode? What do you get there that you don’t get with a high resolution jpg?

I’m just curious

Nice photo of the flower. Photo looks like HD (high def). Anyways, you must have a very nice garden.

Hey Doc - Clematis enjoy sun but at the same time they like to have their roots shaded so growing a plant in front of one to keep the roots cool is a great idea. Also, try amending your soil - perhaps it needs more compost or mulch in it so that it will hold moisture better.
