This weeks Theme is Shiny This is a photo of Cloud Gate. It’s a sculpture in Downtown Chicago. Locals call it “The Bean”. It’s amazing! When we were in Chicago I spent more time walking around the bean, and under it, than I did any other sight that I went to in all of Chicago. Isn’t that amazing? Here’s a close up view. The large structure that you can see reflected in the background is Millennium Park. I posted a photo of the outdoor theater on my gardening website. You should visit to take a better look at it because it’s an amazing design too. Cool. I just loved Chicago. I was only there for three days, but I found that it was very much like Toronto. I felt very much at home there. Maybe Chris and I will end up going to Chicago again this summer. BTW when these photo was posted on another site someone wondered if it was photoshopped. Nope. This is the way The Bean looks. It’s just that cool. If you ever go to Chicago you must see Cloud Gate.
