Shame that I should even have to ask …

May 11, 2007 by Tricia

Question for you …

Some of you have been reading this site and many of my others pretty much since day one. I’ve developed friendships with several of you, and have exchanged email and comments with many many more. I’ve worked on some of your websites, developed business relationships with a few of you and have even gotten to know some of the people that advertise on this and my other sites.

Have I ever come across to you – either on this site or any of my others, via email or comments as:

1. Rude?
2. Crazy?
3. Hard to deal with or unprofessional?

The reason why I’m asking this is because I was called all of these things in an email that I received earlier in the week. Obviously I’ve calmed down about this by now, but curious me still wants to know your opinion. Needless to say, since I don’t recall ever being called any of these things before, I found the email very upsetting.

I will not say who said these things to me. All I’d like is your opinion. Some of you know me quite well, and others only know me by what I write on my sites – either way, if you’ve been reading for a short time I think you should be able to come up with an opinion.

Tricia: I’ve never thought of you in any of those terms. You’ve always been very helpful on the boards and stuff. I’d just write that one off as someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been reading this site for right at a year now. In that entire time I don’t recall you ever even using a single curse word. To say that you are rude, hard to deal with or unprofessional just doesn’t fit. The crazy part would depend on the context in which it was used because I think you are crazy about your flower garden, you are crazy with pain some times, you are crazy about your husband, but to say you are crazy as in off your rocker that doesn’t fit with picture that you have painted in my mind with your blogging.

Tricia, I’ve been reading your site for a few months now and I have never seen a single instance where those terms would apply to you — or anything you’ve posted.

Don’t let that email get you down; that person is clearly in the minority with their opinion!

You have never come across as any of those things.
Sometimes people attack others with no basis for their own mistakes.
Do not take any of those things to heart.
    You’re a good person. ๐Ÿ™‚

No, no, Tricia is no rude dude ๐Ÿ˜‰

Seriously, just ignore it. It’s not worth spilling any time or feelings on!

Keep up the happy blogging ๐Ÿ˜€
