Join my Do Follow blogroll

April 16, 2007 by Tricia

Well it certainly seems that everyone is beginning to join the I Follow movement. Certainly the post that I just linked to has been quite popular. So many people have stopped in to let me know that they have removed the rel no follow tags from their blogs that I decided to create a blogroll for those who are part of the I follow movement.

Becoming part of this movement is a great thing for your sites visitors. When links on your site have the no follow tags search engines basically just ignore the link and don’t bother to index the link on their sites. Those of us who have removed the no follow tags from our sites themes are giving our site visitors – those who stop to comment on one of our posts, a true link. By this I mean that without the no follow tag on an url the search engines, when they visit our sites, will follow the urls that it finds in the comments and index these links in their directories.

If you are a Do Follow blogger please think about joining my “Do Follow Bloggers” blogroll. You’ll find more information about the blogroll and how to become part of it on the Do Follow Bloggers page. If you agree with the basic rules just leave a comment on that page, or send me an email and I’ll send you the blogroll code to add to your site and then add you to the list once I’ve confirmed that the blogroll is indeed on your site.
