This weeks Theme is Water

waterfallCNToronto

This is a photo of the waterfall near Toronto’s CN Tower. I took this photo last August when my husbands brother and kids were visiting from Chicago for a family wedding. I think the kids and my sister in law had gone up into the CN Tower to get a view of the city from above, while Chris, his brother and I waited outside.

We wandered around and a short distance from the Tower we discovered this waterfall. I guess I hadn’t walked in this area very often because I didn’t remember ever having seen this water fall before.

I think I took the photo at about 10 or 11 at night. I’ll have to visit the area again sometime during the day to take more photos of the waterfall. It’s quite large and it’s very pretty.

We have some more great photos up on our other sites today. Chris has one over at Odd Planet that I took when we were traveling to Ottawa last summer. It’s of a lake so it fits the water theme perfectly. Then I’ve got a great photo of rain droplets on As the Garden grows. You must visit the other sites – please. I’d love to find out if you like the photos!

Beautiful! The lighting makes for a lovely night picture, but it will be interesting to see it with natural daylight sparkling off of the water, too.

I admire the way you captured the waterfall at night (I have yet to be successful at that!). I especially like the salmon going upstream!

This is a great shot for the theme. I do love fountains and it is so hard to capture the movement of the water. Lovely.

Wow this brings back memories it’s been years since I’ve been to toronto. I visited the CN tower but didn’t remember seeing this waterfall. Also when I visited the weather was rainy so I didn’t really get a chance to explore the area.

    Great photo ๐Ÿ™‚
