Did you see in the news yesterday that Michael Jackson made his first public appearance since his trial in 2005? Yep, he attended the World Music Awards in the UK earlier this week.
I was actually surprised to see him and hear about him being there. For some reason I guess I’d thought we’d heard the last of him- at least for a long while anyway.
He didn’t look too bad- although in the clips that I saw there were no real close ups of his face. Perhaps he’s been seeing more Cosmetic Surgeons in his time out of the public eye? I’m not sure, but either way he didn’t look too bad.
It sounds like he was too nervous about being there to do a good job of singing and performing. Given his history of arrests and trials I guess he has enough reason to be nervous.
He was awarded the diamond award for having more than 100,000 million records sold during his career.
As far as I know he lives a very retired life in Scotland and prepares a new Album. But for when I don’t know.
I totally agree that Michael did look pretty decent and sounded ok from I could tell. I mean from my understanding he wasn’t even supposed to perform at all it was just billed wrong. So I think that those fans that booed him should just forgive and forget and wait for a REAL Michael performance. 🙂
he wasn’t booed at all! it was all concocted by the media that he was booed but it didn’t happen.
