Chicago Road Trip

This Weeks theme is On the Road, which is a perfect theme since I just traveled back and forth from Toronto to Chicago this past weekend, and of course I took some pictures with from the car as we were driving with my Nokia cell phone.

BTW the Nokia is the Multimedia Smart phone that I received for free back at the end of June just for being a Toronto area blogger. It’s a Nokia 6682 and I’m very pleased with most of the photos that it takes. Some of the ones I take while the car is moving don’t turn out the best but it sure is handy!

Ok here goes:

I took this one last Saturday night as we were driving around trying to find the Old School House on Lincoln North, this was before or after my quick change in the car, see the post prior to this one for that story!

Driving in Chicago

This one was taken later that evening after we left the concert. I love the blurred effect. It looks like we were speeding along but we were actually driving at a fairly low speed:

Blurred cars driving down Chicago street

And finally, we saw this sign when we were traveling on Interstate 69, going through Indiana.

We found this one kind of funny, because I’m sure that each state and each one of Canada’s provinces could have whole fields full of signs just like that.

Happy Saturday, and have a great long weekend to all that celebrate Labour Day.

I liked all 3 photos. The first one.. very cool, especially with the wet pavement and sparkling lights. Felt like I was at the intersection myself.

Those are amazing pics being that they were taken with a phone cam! The 2nd one is my favorite too. In the 1st pic, I like the time of day (of the photo) along with the building on the corner, looks very cool.

I hope my pics are half as nice as yours.

Camera phone? wow… I’ve got one I never use – maybe I should change that?

Anyway, nice pics. In Finland’s capital, Helsinki, there’s one place that resembles very much the corner house in the first pic! The blurred one is very good – and for the last one… it’s a bit difficult to decide wether to cry or laugh at that ๐Ÿ˜€

    Thanks for visiting me ๐Ÿ™‚
