I have a funny story like this myself.

I was working on my car the day that the google overhead images were taken on my block. If you go look at 380 Thrift Street, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, You can see me lying on the ground!

Guess that is my 15 minutes of fame!

privacy representatives from ten countries have now sent a joint letter to Google asking it to step up its privacy practices. The cases cited as concerns aren’t anything new, things like Google Buzz and Street View.

This is ilegal in my opinion

I noticed that the tower was split. I am just glad Google didn’t see me walking around in my underwear through my street level window.

I was excited when Google maps came out, and now this. Awesome.

Hi Tricia,

Google hasn’t done my area yet (whitby), or haven’t posted it yet anyway. I hope it’s a good shot when they do though. My wife likes to leave the garbage and recycling on the porch for me to put in the garage when I get home. That would be embarrassing if they got a picture of that, lol.

I’m sure there has to be a website dedicated to funny or interesting things found on Google Streetview. I’ll let you know if I find anything interesting in the GTA.

Same warping/distortion happened with the tower here in Sydney. Google Aus fixed that up quick when it made the news. Must have been a slow needs day.

Lol..this one’s a nice find The image splitting of the top half of the tower is acceptable. But the double tower makes me lol.. You could report this to Google, rather..

That’s a very interesting ante dote about Google. That just goes to show you that no one or nothing is perfect.

Google recently built a new server farm in my neck of the woods and looking at the job requirements it was mind boogling. They expected a TON of formal education AND related work experience.

Part of negotiations involved special tax incentives granted by our local and city and county and they’d help stimulate the local economy by hiring locals.

Most of the work force where I live are not technical in nature–hence Google did most of the hiring by promoting from within or getting folks from other areas.
