My hubby is pretty handy,thankfully, but doesn't mean that he hasn't made a similar mistake, especially with the car. I remember once the fan locked up on our car, mid-July. So no fan, no a/c obviously. There was rust on the bottom therefore obviously causing it to lock-up. The husband came into to kitchen one morning huffing and puffing and about to blow the house down blaming me since I was always playing around with the temperature and speed of the fan. Sorry buddy but when it's 28 degrees outside I don't want hot air blowing on me. He ended up calling a buddy who took my side. When the hubby did take the fan out, realized, mmmm maybe the wife wasn't at fault after all..... Men, can’t live with ‘em and can’t shoot ‘em.

I've toyed around with my Trans Am before and had to buy a whole new air fitler box for that and it was $300. Why you might ask? Because men like trying to fix things, I guess it's in our nature. It's a lot of fun if you can do it yourself and saves you money too. But, sometimes that results aren't what we wanted. I guess we can just say it's a Tim the Toolman mistake!
