Funny! My friend’s mother had the same things back in the 70′s!!!

That is a fabulous ad, where did you find it? That is definitely from the 70s!

vinsarshi said in September 24th, 2008 at 3:22 pm

Oops!! Just noticed that I spelled weight wrong :)

In my defense, I blame the site of the picture accompanying the post! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it ;)

Stan James said in September 24th, 2008 at 11:38 pm

Yea, gonna call that the 70′s. It looks the they attempted to make life preserving swim trunks, and seriously failed at it. Haha.

Jean-Luc Picard said in September 25th, 2008 at 3:16 pm

It looks like a torture outfit!

Walker Texas Lawyer said in September 25th, 2008 at 3:44 pm

That’s greatest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Right below sliced bread.

Heathrow Hotels said in September 26th, 2008 at 12:15 pm

Those pants look great – so stylish. And according to the packaging ‘One Size Fits All’ – Maybe in the 1970′s but not any more.

Soham@Weight Loss Tea said in September 28th, 2008 at 8:37 am

You can find many of similar products in the markets even now with the innovation value of 1970s, but don’t you think sauna pants looks more like fashion pants what we see now on fashion television.

Cataloger said in September 28th, 2008 at 9:51 pm

That’s hilarious. Just sweat the fat out :)

Wayne said in September 30th, 2008 at 6:35 pm

That has to be from the 70′s! Simultaneously reduces hips, thighs..lol. yeah right! If only…

Akavar said in September 30th, 2008 at 9:15 pm

haha i sure hope thats a gag-product and that it wasnt put into production. theres no way that could work… it would just help you lose water weight, which you would put right back on.

Aswathy said in October 1st, 2008 at 9:45 am

Yup best use of this product would be in the pool to float across.

die wahrheit über bauchmuskeln said in February 8th, 2009 at 8:08 pm

there are lots of products on the market with the same intent (sweating the fat out), but this one certainly has the coolest look :)

Chris said in July 4th, 2009 at 5:06 pm

Its amazing to think people would actually buy something like that. Even if it would work!

David said in November 19th, 2009 at 2:34 pm

Wow … these pants have got to be a joke. Can you imagine the mocking you’d get walking down the street sporting inflatable shorts?

Jane said in May 10th, 2010 at 8:22 am

Looks like a pair of pants that I had when I was in high school back in 79 lol…

Caleb "Muscles" Anthony said in September 7th, 2010 at 5:36 am

There’s a reason this type of thing doesn’t last! This is just too hilarious! “Lose weight! Get your HOT PANTS!” I can’t believe someone thought “Let’s use the words HOT PANTS – it will get maximum results!!

bodybuilding said in November 19th, 2010 at 8:35 am

So it is a double purpose pants. you can use it for losing weight at the same time you can float on your swimming pool when you know you cannot swim :d.

Erwin said in February 20th, 2011 at 9:10 am

HaHa! This is worth trying out although I’d still prefer the conventional sauna bath if you ask me.

jeremy said in February 24th, 2011 at 3:57 pm
