not to be crass, but it just made me think of this. i knew someone who used to accidentally call these chlamydia. i can’t tell you how funny that was when said in a big group! The person had no clue what they had said wrong. i corrected them after the incident in the group – after the fact.

Excuse my ignorance but is William Baffin a name you have given a plant or a genus name for a rose? I have never heard that term before, one way or another that is a beautiful flower though. Coming from a line of dutch relatives in NY I am partial to tulips myself

Purple is my favorite color, so naturally I find that flower particularly appealing. Good job on growing it!
