She also seems to want to be in my lap the whole time. A pet store should have something for pain if she seems to be cramping badly. I spoil my baby when she is in heat because you can tell she isn't feeling well. She'll have a pinched look to her face, she'll chew at her belly, and just sit and whine, my life pretty much stops when she is in season. I'm not sure if is the same with dogs, but pain travels slower than the touch so if you pet or rub near or on her belly then I think that it will interrupt the pain sensation.
