have any of you ignorant people ever thought that maybe shes unique? and has her own sense of style? No wonder people are constantly worried about what others are thinking. Isnt being an individual what were supposed to be?! and just so you know, and are aware.. Its an expression of art. I think its a beautiful outfit. Rave on!

Could just be me, but I'd like to see more people walking around decked out in great, insane get-ups like that. The general consensus on what is fashionable is total BS. Fashion, like many other facets of our not so concrete reality, are fluid and tend to morph with space and time. In fact, what really molds our conception of fashion any freakin' way? One day, what this young woman is wearing might be considered "fashionable" and the garb you all are wearing might be considered gaudy, tacky, and just plain wrong. All I can say is; Rock on, freaky sis!

I know this is old but...

What you have is a picture of a Coplayer who it at a Conbini, grabbing something to eat. It is called Cosplay for a reason. Cosplay is short for Costume Play.

Then you ask if people would wear this - but not as a costume. Ok - do you really think this kid goes like this to school, or work, or hangs out like this at home? Most Japanese kids have to sneak out and change at the train station bathroom and utilize the lockers to store their normal clothing to hide it from their parents. For the high schoolers it can be really dangerous - if they are featured in a magazine they can get kicked out of school because it is against school rules.

PS - Look up DJ Sisen if you want to know what inspired this costume.

Maybe she had a part in a play and while they were on break, she went out for refreshments? At least she had the guts to try something new...I rather like that in a person, someome who's not afraid to be different!

Okay, I wouldn't wear it everyday to do grocery shopping but I find it quite funky. Girl has guts though. Good for her. It isn't worse than any other fashion disasters and at least she's making a fun statement. I wonder if I can control her as a character on a video game though...
