		<description>The ants aren&#039;t on the peony bushes to pollinate them as is commonly thought.  The sap the flower buds produce is loved by ants though and that is why they flock to them.  

If you cut your flowers off to take them into the house make sure you knock all the ants off outside first.

I think everyone should have a peony bush in their yard, even people without a green thumb can grow them.  In fact you really have to go out of your way to kill one of these plants.

And if you dig them out to move them you had better get every last bit of the root system or it will be coming back.  It might take an extra year or two but it will be back.  LOL</description>
