I was thinking of roses yesterday. It’s feb and valentine is really BIG at my place. Red rose price shoot upto 8-10 times on that day. :-) These roses are indeed beautiful.. But they are not ‘red’ :D

That rose is pretty. We have pink roses also and hopefully they are already in their bloom. Happy GTS! TC

That is a great rose! I am considering starting some roses in my dad’s new memorial garden. Have you seen those “tree roses”? Are they any good? Jackson & Perkins has them and they look great but I was wondering if they are just a novelty.

My favorite mailorder seed company is Pinetree Garden Seeds because they are good but vey cheap.

Oh, and I am going to start posting for Green Thumb Sunday again! I just put the first one up (sort-of) at my Gardendesk site.

Thanks for continuing to host GTS!

Sorry to bother you here, but I haven’t received any responses to my E-mails concerning the ethics form I sent my post and mail and I am wondering whether they are landing in spam or whether you have changed your mind with regard to my project. I really hope you are still fine with the project and would really appreciate if you could send me a quick E-mail, so I can send you the ethics form per Mail and you could quickly fill it in. I am really under time pressure now. Best Brook

Lovely rose. It doesn’t look like the type found in Home Depot.
I have ordered wildflower seed mixes from a a place in Tucson. They are specifically mixed for our climate. Also, Native Seed is good for veggies that grow well here in the desert.
Happy GTS,
Aiyana

Any idea if this rose is available in England

Great looking roses, too bad you lost so many. They sorta remind me of the “Silver Queen” we’ve got growing the one time they bloomed a few years ago.
