That probably explains why she gets so overly excited when we do go upstairs to watch t.v. or do anything else. She jumps up on that sofa and looks so completely proud of herself! I don't have a couch any longer but when I did he was up there also. The only problem I had with that was when he would scratch around trying to get the perfect spot. If I noticed it I would "ask" him to stop. You notice I say "ask" him. ha ha But it worked....he always stopped. Now he just gets up on the recliner and finds him the perfect spot. He also sleeps on my bed on a blanket that I wash often. But he hasn't ruined anything yet. At this point, he probably won't because he is an adult dog and he knows better. I've pretty much got him trained but it's taken a loooooooong time to get here. Another thing I do ALL THE TIME is to praise him when he does good. And he gets a milk bone snack. I always tell him how wonderful he is and how cute he is and he wags his tail like crazy. Then he goes to the kitchen, stares up a the milk bone box and barks as if to say "Okay....I get another snack because I'm so cute and so lovable and so good!" Hi Tricia:
