There are so many ways you can plan a kids party… it really depends on what the kid really likes. For instance, my sons love batman and I know what theme I will use. couple years back in was the purple dinasaur – BARNEY – and seems like every year it changes. so you just have to give em something they like

I’ve got the same problem. My son’s birthday is in February and it’s always raining or cold and they have to stay indoors. I still don’t know how his party is going to be.

My nephew recently turned 10 and we had the party at a local rock climbing gym. It was fairly inexpensive, they provided everything but the cake. The boys had a great time especially since it wasn’t a “baby activity”. The employees were great with the boys and encouraged them and provided tips to turn them into pros. I thought it was a big hit!

What about a tobogganing party or ice skating. You could always take them bowling. These are the types of parties that are popular here. Also arcades, but they are very expensive.

Having the pet store owner bring animals is a good idea. Most kids like animals, but you may get one or two that don’t. Also be sure to inform parents as some kids may be allergic.
