Hi Tricia:
I just love hearing about Midnight and I couldn’t wait to comment on this post. This particular post reminds me of Bailey’s younger years and sometimes now he does odd things such as eating his poop. Isn’t that just awful. If I catch him doing it, of course I make him stop. He looks at me as if to say “back off lady!! this is good stuff here!”.

Fortunately when he needs to go pee, he runs to the door and barks. Then I ask him if he wants to go outside and he then barks twice. If I feel like messing with him and playing around, I ask him again. Then he stomps his feet and barks 2 more times. I then let him outside. Many times though….he just wants to go outside for the heck of it and I know he doesn’t need to pee. I’ve just learned his habits. He makes me laugh all the time. He and I play lots of silly games.

Sorry this was so long but I thought you would enjoy it!

I am just slightly south of you in WI, and I can’t believe how warm it is myself for January. I guess Al Gore is right… LOL the globe is warming.

I wish my girl friend would let me get a puppy. All I get is a stinky cat.

Awww… Midnight sounds so sweet. I think you should be happy she’s not a yappy little poopie dog :)

Hugo comes to wherever I am and just sits looking at me when he wants something – then I have to figure it out. Usually if I get up and follow him he shows me what he wants.

How did I ever live without a doggie? I keep telling Crystal she needs to save her money to buy ‘herself’ a dog – I think Hugo is MINE!

I really like puppies, however i’m more of a cat fan myself. My cats called ‘poppy’ and is crazy a bit like your dog. She likes chasing fly’s and eating my plants!

Well, some puppies really like to play in open air and bringht sun. You shuld leave them like that and see how they can brighten your day
