Alaskan salmon that my father-in-law caught on a recent trip to Alaska, new potatoes, sliced brandywine tomatoes from the garden. Yumm. Maybe I’ll cook some of the purple podded pole beans from the garden that are slowly taking over my kitchen…

I feel like eating pizza today, simple and quick. But unfortunately I took out some meat from the freezer yesterday so i´ll have to cook that. It will be a tomato based casserole. Yummy. :)

Have a nice evening!

I don’t know what I will cook tonight; But I will have a look in my blogs friends! It could give me inspiration! Perhaps moulds/frenchfreis with a special sauce!

For dinner tonight I am making homeade fried chicken (my own special reciepe), mashed potato, beans, and cornbread. Yummy. I almost always cook dinner. I am a SAHM so dinner is on the table at 600pm when hubby gets home from work.

I’m going to attempt a new Chicken and Spinach Adobo recipe that I got from Robyn over at Bitchypoo.net.

http://robynanderson.com/other/recipes/entrees/chickenadobo.html

I took the chicken out last night, although it’s not gonna be marinating for two hours, that’s for sure!!

Soup with macaroni (or nuddles) combined with tomatoes and basilica - and whatever else that can enrich the flavour for a daily-day meal.

I made homemade chicken-a-la-king with mashed potatoes and green beans. A nice feel good dinner, good thing we’re not dieting!

Thanks for visiting me! I recently changed my template and you are right…I need to fix my no follow! I completely forgot to do that when I switched…thank you so much for letting me know! I’ll be working on it later tonight and then I’ll e-mail you when I’ve fixed it!

Molly (3 comments.) said in July 13th, 2007 at 9:42 pm

Forget what I made, let’s talk some more about those tomatoes from your garden! YUM! That’s one of the best parts of summer. I tried last year to grow a garden but I ended up just feeding the bunnies and whatever that thing is that’s living in our shed. :(

Hmmm… for dinner… Looks like it’s going to be another night of Cup O’ Soup (Shrimp flavored). With (as you’ve read) my work schedule the key ingredient for my days is sleep. Lots and lots of sleep. Drives my wife nuts because she’s been doing all the house work. I feel bad, but without my sleep, I couldn’t pull the hours I have to pull.

Maybe one day I’ll be one of those filthy rich people whom doesn’t have to work to pay the bills, but rather work to stay out of trouble and have something to do.

Anyways… Back to work :\

I assume this is a paid post, and wanted to express the fact that it is entertaining and well written. PPP should make their bloggers pass and English composition test, and more of the posts should resemble this one, which is instructive, and encourages community participation. Mazeltov.

Gee. As a single guy I think I forgot what did you call - them - vegetables are. I think they are yellow and green and sometimes red. But it is a blur…

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 7:40 pm

Working girl - that sounds good except for the salmon part. I’m allergic to salmon. Substitute another type of fish and Mmmmm good.

Wow … I got a lot of comments on this post. Maybe I should write about food more often? LOL

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 7:41 pm

Linda a tomato based casserole sounds good. What kind of meat did you use? I’m not that big on pizza … yes I’m weird - everyone I know loves pizza but me.

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 7:42 pm

Claudie - so what did you decide to have for dinner Friday night? Something good I hope!

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 7:43 pm

Tiffany home fried chicken and all the fixin’s sounds good. :) I can’t eat too much fried food but that does sound delicious.

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 7:46 pm

Lisa that Chicken and Spinach Adobo recipe sounds very good. Did you try it? I’ve made chicken in a similar way and it was delicious. The longer you marinate the better. It really does make a difference.

I’m the kind of cook that makes up things as I go. It almost always turns out well though. If something I created was particularly delicious I’ve taken to writing down what I did after the fact - I remember what I did most of the time but not always. LOL Keeps thing interesting!

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 7:48 pm

Laane yes that cookware is beautiful. I actually have a similar type of cookware so it’s a joy to cook when I’m motivated. Your dinner sounds good - what type of fish did you have?

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:05 pm

RennyBA it sounds like you had yet another delicious meal. I love everything on the menu except for the Bearnaise sauce as I’m not big on sauces.

Have you tried making a steak and then using the juices when frying onion and mushrooms? The steak juices add a lot of flavor- especially to the mushrooms.

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:16 pm

TorAa I’m pretty sure I can figure out what cybercruise friend you are with. :) I’ve heard that you two have been hanging out and having a lot of fun canoing, visiting farms and eating great meals together. :)

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:17 pm

Lynne mmmm chicken a la King. Seems a lot of people had potatoes of one kind or another last night. :)

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:17 pm

Hey Jenny did you get the no follow problem sorted out? Let me know. :)

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:20 pm

Molly the two tiny tomatoes were delicious. I can still taste them if I think about it. It’s been raining today so I didn’t go out and look to see if any more small tomatoes were ripe or not. I’ll have to have a look later or sometime tomorrow. They are great in a salad. I’ve even baked them with chicken and oh they taste so good baked.

Maybe you need to protect your plants with some netting? Most garden centers sell a plastic netting that you can place over you plants. It doesn’t look attractive but it might give you a chance at success. Darn rabbits and thing in the garage! ;)

Tricia (464 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:22 pm

Dustin I don’t think I’ve ever had shrimp flavored cup of soup. I’ll have to try that sometime. Well with your hours make sure you are eating enough … if you aren’t eating enough that could make you even more tired.

RennyBA (53 comments.) said in July 14th, 2007 at 8:25 pm

Thanks for your reply and yes I have tried that trick to make the mushrooms taste even better ;-)

Jewish T-shirts thank you for your comments. This is not a PPP post although it is sponsored. I try to write all my posts regular or paid reviews in a way that is interesting, entertaining and engages the readers. It doesn’t always work out as well as this post did, but I try.

I honestly like to know what my visitors are doing or thinking or what their own experiences have been.

I find the best paid posts are written with honesty and experience. It also helps if the advertiser gives a lot of freedom in the post rather than desiring a lot of specifics.

If you’re an advertisers keep me in mind. ;) I wear T-shirts all the time. :)
