I found this post thru a search that took me thru bumpzee. I really like the do follow movement and have met allot of cool people in and out of my niche category. I also agree with you on the funny site followed by a penis enlarger link that makes it too obvious the funny site comment is one that goes out to you and about 10k other blogs. Thank god for askimet plug ins right. I havn't put the do follow plug in on my blog yet as it is real new but once I do I will see if you will add it to your list. Your blog is clean and not jumbled up, I really like the appearance. See you around on bumpzee, thanks

This is so true. I especially enjoy the comments I get that are advertising porn, viagra and gambling. There is no mention of any of these topics on my blog. These comments are generated by some type of comment software and I haven't figured out how to stop them. I am just thankful that I can moderate them.

I agree with you on all your points.

I also have a do-follow site. I am not on the blog rolls though because I really don't want a million more links coming out of my blogroll page. I am a member of the blogger chicks roll, so there are more than enough already.

I don't seem to have a ton of junk comments though, so I sort of associate that with not advertising so much that I am a no-follower.

How many of these junk comments are you talking about? It is in the dozens or just occasional random ones? Just wondering....
