Gardening can be a lot of work, but I love the benefits of having such a lovely place to spend some time or to just look at. We have a spectacular yard that always has some beautiful flowering plants blooming throughout the year. I, on the other hand, love plants and buy them all the time, but then promptly kill them. I've done pretty well with the yard though, keeping it up and more or less like the previous owners left it. But I have fallen down on the job this year and it's gotten awfully over grown. I've got to get out there and cut back the ivy and prune back some of the plants. Sigh. Tomorrow. The people who lived in our house before us were ‘yard people’.
